Couples, singles – everyone is invited to join this group which meets the first Saturday of each month to enjoy lunch or brunch as well as great parties (the Kentucky Derby Party, for example). Dinners are in members’ homes, at the AWC Clubhouse or at selected locations depending on the event. Each attendee brings a dish to share. Come with a friend, spouse or significant other! 2024-2025 Wine and Dine Events
The Wine and Dine Kentucky Derby Party is coming up soon. It is always a fun time and the highlight of the year for Wine and Dine.

ATTENTION CHILI FANS: Mark your calendars for the Wine & Dine CHILI CONTEST on March 23. Regretfully, this event was cancelled.
Joan and Brad Milnes will host the event from noon to 2 in their home.
Please contact Joan if you want to enter your chili into the contest. Based on counter space and electrical outlets, up to 8 entries can be accepted. All cooks must bring a serving spoon or ladle along with their warm and ready-to-eat chili in a slow cooker or crock pot. All kinds of chili are welcome – spicy, mild, vegetarian, turkey, white, etc. Whatever you like to make!
Everyone attending the Wine & Dine will taste and vote for their favorite chili.
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED to the winner and the two runners-up.
Wine & Diners not cooking chili for the contest are asked to bring a chili-related dish for sharing. Some suggestions include salsas with tortilla chips, corn bread, green salad, cole slaw, and fresh fruit salad. Dessert suggestions include churros, flan and anything made with Mexican chocolate, which contains cinnamon. Again, please contact Joan (joanmilnes.jm@gmail.com or 978-578-2665) about which dish you plan to bring so we don’t end up with too much of one item.

March 4th SpicePepper Garden
The next Wine and Dine outing will be lunch on Saturday, March 4 at 11:45 am at SpicePepper Garden, 36 Great Road, Acton. There were many good restaurant choices, but hard to find one for a sizeable group that was reasonable — and we wanted to eat local. All Woman’s Club members are invited, and as with all Wine & Dine events, spouses, partners and significant others are always welcome.
SpicePepper Garden serves food from a variety of menus: Chinese Mandarin, Szechwan-more spicy, and Sushi. We’ll have several tables. I would suggest that those who like spicy entrees might like to sit at the same table. Menus at http://www.spicepeppergarden.com/menu.html We can arrange to have separate checks, but if a table wishes to share the Chinese dishes, they’d split the bill. Drinks would be separate.
