Overview
The Acton Woman’s Club enthusiastically welcomes guests from Acton and the surrounding communities to our monthly luncheon meetings at the Clubhouse. Guests first join us for lunch and an opportunity to visit. Next we get together for our monthly meeting followed by a special program.
Please check the dates and times of the meetings in our calendar. Guests may attend two meetings prior to joining the club. Kindly telephone the Membership Chair to let her know you will be attending.
Any woman living or working in Acton, who is interested in the purpose of this club, is welcomed and eligible for membership. About 20% of the active members come from surrounding towns. The purpose of the club is to preserve our historic antique house for the town of Acton, to promote benevolent and civic activities, and to encourage friendships and good times together. The Club is non-political and non-partisan.
Active members serve on one luncheon committee and one standing committee yearly, and support the fund raising activities of the club. All members are entitled to join the many interest groups of the club and are eligible to rent the Clubhouse at a reduced rate.
The annual dues for all members is $40.00 and is paid in the spring of the year. New members joining after January 1st pay $20.00 for the remainder of the year.
