Horticultural Therapy – Cathy Fochtman has a popular horticultural class at the Senior Center sponsored by the Acton Nursing Service. She will guide us through the making of a take-home horticultural treasure.

Cathy first presented a slide show of container plantings she has done around Acton, explaining the plants she used and why. She then created a lovely hanging pot. That pot below, along with another she brought, as well as materials to make your own container planting, were given to 3 lucky members, by drawing names. We all learned a lot and had great fun!
