Welcome Back to fully in-person meetings beginning in September! As is our custom, our monthly meeting consists of a delicious luncheon and some time to visit, after which we all head upstairs for a quick business meeting and a special program.
The AWC has purchased four Honeywell Hepa air purifiers that meet COVID guidelines to clean the air and that will help keep us safe. Additionally, we request that those attending in person be vaccinated and wear a mask.

April 13, 2022 Business Meeting 12:30, Program, 1:00 PM
Meet at the Clubhouse or Join us on ZOOM – No Luncheon – Hospitality is planning some sort of surprise goodies. All attendees must be vaccinated, wear a mask (everyone can get good N95’s or KN95’s now, so that is our best recommendation) and the ventilators will be running.
Our program is a video featuring Australian-born Patrice Derrington, who has combined her expertise in business, architecture, real estate and education in support of numerous projects, including VP of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, during New York’s recovery efforts after 9/11. Derrington describes the focus of her work, questioning how people can ever get on their feet – on equal footing – with those who have stable shelter. Nancy Andersen’s daughter works with Derrington, and knows her as a dynamic and fascinating person.
