Club House Rental

dining room living room upstairs hall

The Acton Woman's Club is a historical house circa 1829. It is rented out for weddings, wedding receptions, showers, parties, dance classes, business meetings and club meetings. The proceeds not only cover expenses to maintain the up keep of the Acton Woman's Club, but also help to raise money for community charities.

Arrangements to see the Acton Woman's Club can be made by contacting the House Reservation Members. Please see the Contact Information and the pictures. The Acton Woman's Club is limited to hold 75 people by fire laws.

The downstairs has: 1. A charming living room or sitting room at the front of the house with a fireplace (not operable), 2. A dinning room opening from the living room with a lovely large table, quaint long bench, built in cabinet, and another fireplace, and 3. A working kitchen complete with a stove, refrigerator, sink, dishwasher and microwave oven. (Please note that the Acton Woman's Club does not provide dishes, silverware, or table linens. Also, no candles are permitted by the fire department.) There are two large coffee urns available.

The upstairs is a hall with a stage. There is an upright working piano on the stage and a built in sound system with speakers and a microphone. There are long tables (96" x 32") with bridge folding chairs available in the hall. Many people use these for banquets or buffet serving.

The grounds are very attractive at the rear of the club house and have been used for weddings and parties. The Mabel Jenks Memorial Rose Garden is in the back yard.

All rental information - costs, tours, and availability may be obtained through the House Reservation Contacts.
