Since 1952

These affordable Dance Classes have been offered by the Acton Woman's Club since 1952. Students enjoy the classes and often return a second year. Parents are excited to chaperone the classes. Women Club Members are hostesses greeting the arriving Dance Students.

Teachers

The dance classes take place in the large upstairs hall under the direction of a professional dance teacher Mr. Douglas Trudeau. Mr. Trudeau has been teaching a variety of etiquette and ballroom dance classes throughout the Boston area for the past 15 years with the Boston Assemblies. The Boston Assemblies is the largest and most successful network of professional social dance classes and etiquette instruction for the children in the greater Boston area. In addition, Mr. Trudeau is also the founder and director of a professional theatrical company called Showstoppers. During daytime hours, Mr. Trudeau can be found working for the Waltham Public Schools as their Director of Fine Arts. parking information

Drop off & Parking

Parents dropping off students are asked to abide by all traffic safety regulations.

Take special care to not require your child to cross Main Street, Route 27. But, rather drop off on the same side of the street as the Acton Woman's Club.

Do not park in Private Driveways or block Driveways. This is not courteous to our neighbors. It is a good idea to park in a legal parking place. Drive carefully and take your time. Safety of your child is or first concern. Be patient waiting your turn when dropping off your child.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION OF THESE SAFETY ISSUES!
